On October 17th, we gathered to celebrate the completion of the first phase of the restoration of the historic Whitneyville Congregational Church located on the corner of Whitney and Putnam.

On October 17th, we gathered to celebrate the completion of the first phase of the restoration of the historic Whitneyville Congregational Church located on the corner of Whitney and Putnam. Part of Whitneyville Cultural Commons since 2016, the WCC has been working to raise the funds needed to return this Hamden landmark to its rightful condition.
With help from our Hamden community, including Mayor Garrett, members of the Whitneyville United Church of Christ, our WCC Partners, and the WCC staff and board, we cut the ribbon, celebrating this important step forward.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the donors who helped to make this possible.
